Refund Policy

Phasegate is operated by Delvir LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801 (“Delvir,” “we,” “us”). Contact: team@delvir.co.
This page is part of the Terms of Service and states the same refund rules in one place, in plainer language. It sits alongside the Terms and the Privacy Policy. Where this page and the Terms describe the same thing, they are meant to agree; if a genuine conflict is ever found, the Terms govern and we will correct this page.
The short version: cancel whenever you like and you keep the time you already paid for. We do not refund part of a period you have already used. A Founding Year pre-order is different — it is fully refundable, no reason needed, and one email is enough.
1. The free plan
The free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. Our liability for it is limited to what you paid for it, which is zero.
2. Trials
Where a trial is offered on a paid plan it runs for 14 days. You are not charged while a trial is running. Cancel before the trial ends and no payment is taken, so no refund is needed. If you let the trial convert and then change your mind, section 3 applies.
3. Monthly and annual subscriptions
Paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them. You can cancel at any time, from your billing settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep access until that date, and you are not charged again after it.
We do not refund partial periods, and we do not pro-rate an unused remainder — except where the law of your jurisdiction requires it, in which case the law wins over this sentence. Cancelling mid-month does not produce a credit for the days left in the month, and cancelling mid-year does not produce a credit for the months left in the year.
We will refund, in full or in part, without argument, in these situations:
- A duplicate charge. Two charges for the same period; we refund the extra one.
- A charge after a cancellation we confirmed. If we told you the subscription was cancelled and it billed anyway, that charge comes back.
- A charge on the wrong plan or the wrong amount because of a mistake on our side; we refund the difference.
- An extended failure of the service that we caused and could not put right within a reasonable time. We will say what happened and refund the affected period.
Outside those cases, whether to refund a period that has already run is our decision, and we will tell you the reason either way. Price changes are never applied retroactively: if we change a price, it takes effect at your next renewal, after notice, and you can cancel before it.
Cohort plans are sold annually and invoiced directly. Their refund terms are the ones written into that invoice or order form; this page does not override a signed agreement.
4. Founding Year pre-orders
A Founding Year pre-order is a one-time charge of $290 for your first year, billed at purchase, before the product is generally available. Because you are paying in advance for something that is not open yet, it carries a stronger rule than an ordinary subscription:
Full refund, any time before launch and for thirty days after. One email to team@delvir.co — no call, no form, no reason needed. Your founding place and everything that comes with it ends when the refund is issued, and the scheduled renewal is cancelled with it.
Nothing described in a pre-order is a feature promise, and we do not give a launch date. If we cannot open the product to you, or you simply decide you no longer want the place, you get the full $290 back. The renewal that would otherwise begin 365 days after purchase at $990 a year is cancelled together with the refund, so a refund can never leave a future charge behind.
A change to this page or to the Terms cannot retroactively weaken the refund right attached to a pre-order you have already placed. The terms in force when you paid are the terms that apply to that payment.
5. How to ask
One email to team@delvir.co. No call, no form, no reason needed for a Founding Year pre-order. It helps if you include the email address on the account and roughly when the charge happened, so we can find it quickly. We aim to answer within three business days and to issue an approved refund within five business days of answering.
6. How the money actually gets back to you
Payments are processed by Stripe. A refund is returned to the original payment method — the same card or bank account that was charged. We cannot send a refund to a different card, to a different person, or by another route, and neither can our payment processor.
- We issue the refund the moment it is approved. Your bank then decides when it appears on your statement, which is usually five to ten business days and is outside our control.
- Refunds are made in the currency you were charged in. If your bank converted the charge, the amount that lands may differ slightly because the exchange rate moved; that difference is your bank’s, not a partial refund.
- Where a payment method has expired or been closed, the refund is still sent to it; your bank is required to route it to you, and we will help you chase it if it does not arrive.
- Any tax collected on a refunded charge is refunded with it.
7. What a refund ends
A refund closes out what you paid for. For a subscription period, access to the paid features for that period ends. For a Founding Year pre-order, the founding place, the locked rate, and everything else that came with it end when the refund is issued, and the place goes back to the pool. Your account itself is not deleted by a refund, and it keeps working on the free plan. To have your content removed, see the Privacy Policy.
8. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we retry it and email you. Paid features pause until it clears, and the account falls back to the free plan rather than being deleted. A failed payment is not a charge, so there is nothing to refund.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
Please email us before you dispute a charge with your bank. Almost every dispute we have seen is faster to settle directly, and a refund from us reaches you sooner than a chargeback does. If you do open a dispute, the card network decides it, not us; we will respond with the records we hold. We may suspend an account while a dispute on it is open, and we may decline to reopen a paid account that was charged back rather than refunded.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this page. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, tell paying customers by email or in-product notice. Changes apply to payments made after they take effect, never to a payment already made.
11. Governing law — no arbitration
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court where the amount qualifies.
There is no arbitration clause in these terms. You are not giving up your right to go to court, and neither are we. The class-action and jury waivers in section 12 of the Terms of Service apply here too.
If any provision of this page is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. If you are outside the United States, nothing here removes a consumer-protection right your local law gives you and does not allow to be waived.
